Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect the information you give us when you sign up and use Alaa Breaks Steps: phone number (for SMS verification + booking reminders), name, email (optional), booking history, pack purchases, attendance, and waiver acceptance records. We process this data under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in operating the studio).

Phone numbers and SMS data

No mobile numbers will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Messages are delivered through AWS End User Messaging. AWS does not share end user phone numbers with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe. Alaa Breaks Steps never sees nor stores card numbers. Refund + dispute records are retained for accounting and regulatory purposes.

Cookies & analytics

We always use strictly necessary cookies (authentication, session). With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies — Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Microsoft Clarity, and Vercel — to measure how our campaigns perform and improve the site.

You choose via the cookie banner: select “Acceptera” to allow them or “Endast nödvändiga” to keep only the strictly necessary ones. These cookies load only after you accept, and nothing is shared until then.

We never share your personnummer (Swedish personal identity number) with these analytics or advertising providers.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@alaadance.com. Deletion requests are honoured within 30 days; some data may be retained where required by Swedish accounting or tax law.

Data retention

Booking, payment, and attendance records are retained for 7 years per Swedish accounting law (Bokföringslagen). Account profiles and phone numbers are retained while your account is active and anonymised on deletion.
